According to information published in the British newspaper "Telegraph", the United States of America plans to deploy 54 F-35A fighters to a military base in Suffolk, Britain. These fighters are capable of carrying nuclear weapons and should replace the less advanced F-15s. The transfer is expected in late 2023 or early 2024.

This decision was made as part of the modernization of military forces and the strengthening of NATO in the region. The F-35A is one of the most modern fighters, with high maneuverability, stealth technology and the ability to carry both conventional and nuclear weapons.
